IBS is more than an engineering firm, it’s a part of a wider community.
As Bahamian engineers, we believe that developing the infrastructure of our country is important. To us this also means nurturing the human element - an interest in science and engineering in our future engineers. Our key initiative is The IBS Build-A-Bridge Challenge which is a bridge building competition for high school students across The Bahamas. It’s the first and only competition of its kind in the country and the excitement shared among competing schools grows every year. In the coming years the competition will be expanded into the greater Caribbean region and beyond.
